Now in its 55th edition, this premier event on the international backgammon calendar is more than a tournament; it's a celebrated tradition that draws the world's most skilled players and passionate enthusiasts to the glamorous Côte d'Azur to crown the 2025 Backgammon World Champion.
Hosted at the Fairmont Hotel in Monte Carlo, the championship will feature a week of intense gameplay and high stakes competition. This year's championship is poised for a historic turnout, with attendance projected to be over fifty percent higher than in recent years, reflecting the game’s rapid growth on a global level.
